I was e-mailed this little story and decided I had to post it.....Enjoy!!!!!

A 3-year-old's Tea Party!!
One day my mother was out and my dad was in charge of me and my brother who is four years older than I am. I was maybe 1 and a half years old and had just recovered from an accident in which my arm had been broken among other injuries. Someone had given me a little 'tea set' as a get-well gift and it was one of my favorite toys. Daddy was in the living room engrossed in the evening news and my brother was playing nearby in the living room when I brought Daddy a little cup of 'tea', which was just water. After several cups of tea and lots of praise for such yummy tea, my Mom came home. My Dad made her wait in the living room to watch me bring him a cup of tea, because it was 'just the cutest thing!!' My Mom waited, and sure enough, here I come down the hall with a cup of tea for Daddy and she watches him drink it up, then says, 'Did it ever occur to you that the only place that baby can reach to get water is the toilet??'

Cuties.......
Here's Anna in her cute little pig tails and Blue's Clues dress that Grandma Kara got for her. She just loves to wear dresses and tights.

Anna asleep on the couch one afternoon.

Here are the brothers bonding already. They're going to have so much fun when they get older. I don't even want to think about the mischief they're going to get into.

Renee's Kitchen

Here's a new cookie recipe that I came across in my Taste of Home Simple & Delicious magazine. These cookies are very tasty and as you will notice they don't use any flour. I used all natural peanut butter that does not have any sugar added to it, which helps reduce the amount of sugar in these cookies. They turned out great. The recipe also makes a big batch, so either bake them all up and freeze a few bags for later or freeze half of the batter for later.

Peanut Butter Jumbos

1 1/2 cups peanut butter
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
4 1/2 cups quick cooking oats
2 tsp. baking soda
1 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup M&M's miniature baking bits

In a large mixing bowl, cream peanut butter, butter and sugars. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla. Combine oats and baking soda; gradually add to creamed mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and baking bits. Note: I only used half the amount of the chocolate chips and baking bits. I find most recipes put to many chips in, but for those chocolate lovers out there feel free to use the full amount.

Drop by heaping tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto baking sheets. Press down with palm or glass. Bake 350 degrees for 12-14 mins or until edges are browned. Yields: 9 dozen

Sleeping Noah....which he has been doing a lot of in the last week and a half. It's also hard to believe how small they are and so sweet.
