Tight spaces....
Noah managed to get himself back in a corner, so that he could get to one of my magazines. What a stinker:) Anna then thought it looked like fun and jumped in there with him. They are such silly kids!

Play Dough Center.....
One of the kids got this play dough center last year for Christmas and it is so nice. It holds all the the play dough toys and it has a nice lid that goes on top of it. It can also be used as a coloring table and a snack table. Even Noah is having a fun time with digging the toys out of it.

Charlie is now 11 weeks old......
I have to say it has been going very well with little Charlie and a lot better then I anticipated. The kids have been very good at keeping an eye on her and making sure she is not chewing on something that she is not suppose to. She also is very good at chewing on her chew sticks and when she's tired she will go lie on a blanket or pillow, which you can see in the pictures below.
She's a sweet little pup, but definitely a puppy.

Here she is enjoying some apple that one of the kids dropped....

Got my USB Cable......

I was very surprised at how quickly the cable came. It's amazing how much you miss something when you don't have it or are not able to use it, so I will be playing catch up with pictures.

Sorry for the pictures being a bit dark, but I still wanted to post them. Gabe was having a good time playing with his dump truck outside.

This is what happens if you leave Gabriel by himself for a short time. He happened to get a hold of Noah's container of Cheerios and got them all over the floor. Lets just say I was not to happy and it was soon nap time for him.

Friend Came For a Short Visit.....

Yukky Weather.....

As I am look out my window......... it's sleeting. I can hardly believe it and I can't say I'm to excited about it. It's melting right away, which is good, but soon enough I will have to put on my boots and coat and shovel the drive way. I guess it will be good exercise.

Anna decided she wanted to go outside, so I got her coat, boots and gloves on and sent her out and it lasted a minute. Gabe can't decide if he want to go out or not. I think it may be a long winter. I guess I will have to get them a couple of shovels to help me shovel snow.

On Order....

Yesterday I ordered a USB cable off of eBay, so hopefully it will get here soon. Brandon looked at Office Depot yesterday and decided not to buy it because it was $28. I had tried to call him earlier in the day to let him know that I had found one for less than $5 and that includes shipping. What a deal:)

Sorry no Pictures.....

Noah got a hold of the USB cable for the camera and chewed on the end and now it doesn't work. So, now I am going to have to get another one (hopefully sooner than later). Check back in a couple of days for new pix :)

Charlie is doing very well and getting bigger every week. She is now 9 1/2 weeks old. I think she is starting to get the hang of going potty outside, which is wonderful. We have not had any accidents for a couple days now and when she needs to pee or poop she goes to the patio door and barks. We have a pretty good system set up with baby gates, so she spends most of her sleeping time in the kitchen area or if I'm in there she does not mind being in there. She also seems to not be a picky eater, which is great. So far she really loves apple slices, banana, scone and pretty much anything else you put in her dish.

Another thing that I have been up to is this last Sunday afternoon I was able to get through a big stack of items that needed to be fix with my sewing machine. I was having a few problems getting my machine to work a while back, but finally figured it out. It sure feels good to have those items done. I now have some nice fabric for the kids and am planning on making them all aprons for Christmas.

Well hope everyone is doing well. Hope to be back soon with some pictures:)

Another all time favorite recipe......
Easy Chicken & Cheese Enchiladas

I have been making this recipe for about 2 years now and it is one of our absolute favorites and it is so easy. I usually leave the salsa out of the cream mixture and let people put salsa on top of there own enchiladas. I also serve a nice salad a long side this dish and some spiced up black beans. You could even mix some salsa into the black beans and warm it up and put on top. Yum Yum!!! Enjoy and let me know if you try it out:)

My Loving Husband....
Noah is getting so big and is almost 9 months now. He is a very good and fast crawler now. He is also starting to get into everything like pulling books off the shelf and pulling the DVD drawers out and the DVD's. Also last night he slept from 5:00 p.m to 3:00 a.m. I thought he was just going to take a hour nap and get up for supper, but that didn't happen. It looks like he is going to do it again tonight.

A new twist on Meatloaf......

Or at least new for me. A couple of months ago I came across this meatloaf recipe and thought it sounded good, so I tried it out and it has become one of my hubby's favorite meals. I use cream of mushroom soup instead of the tomato, but I'm sure the tomato would be good as well. So here is the ingredients that I use:

Mushroom Cream Meatloaf

1 1/2" hamburger
1 egg
1 onion diced
1 pkg Stove top stuffing
1 can condensed mushroom soup
1/2 cup milk

I mix the hamburger, egg, onion and stove top stuffing together. Then I mix the condensed mushroom soup and milk together and put in about 1/4 cup of the mushroom gravy in the meatloaf and then finish mixing up the meatloaf and put in it in your loaf pan. Then I pour the rest of the mushroom gravy over the meatloaf and cover with tin foil. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. I then serve mash potatoes and corn or squash with this and it is oh so good:) Let me know if you try it out and like it or leave me your favorite meatloaf recipe

Going to try a new recipe.....

I think the next time I make Lasagna I am going to try this recipe out and see how it is. Has anyone ever made Lasagna in the crock pot before???

Slow Cooker Lasagna
Slow Cooker Lasagna Great lasagna doesn’t have to mean lots of time and perfectly layered squares. This recipe is easier to prepare and still has all the rich flavors of lasagna to enjoy. Put it together and forget about it while you go about your other to-dos. Slow Cooker Lasagna is also a great dinner idea for trick-or-treat night!

Serves:6
Prep time: 20 minutes
Cook time: 3-4 hours
Approximate cost: $2.50 per serving

INGREDIENTS
1 pound lean ground beef, cooked and drained
32 ounce jar of your favorite red pasta sauce
16 ounces cottage cheese or ricotta cheese
1/2 box (4.5 ounces) no boil lasagna noodles, gently broken in half if needed.
2 cloves garlic, minced*
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano*
1/4 teaspoon dried basil*
1/2 cup onion, finely minced
2 cups (8 ounces) Mozzarella cheese, shredded
Parmesan cheese, to taste
Olive oil or cooking spray, as needed

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Grease the inside of your slow cooker with olive oil or cooking spray.
  2. Combine beef, sauce, spices, garlic and onion in a medium-sized bowl and mix well.
  3. Combine cheese, except for Parmesan, in a separate medium-sized bowl.
  4. In the slow cooker, start with the beef mixture (about a fifth depending on the size of your cooker). Top with a layer of no boil noodles, then crumble on a thin layer of the cheese mixture (about a fifth). Repeat layers, ending with the beef layer on top. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours. Serve with salad and garlic bread.

*If your pasta sauce has already been flavored with herbs and garlic you may omit these ingredients if desired.

Fun in the Rain......
It's not raining to hard today, but it's a light drizzle. Anna decided she wanted to go out to play even though it's raining out. She seems to be having a good time playing while her brothers are napping.

She was getting water from the down spout and pulling her wagon around. It so nice to see your little one playing so nicely.

Here she has her favorite twirly dress with her winter boots, and a light jacket.

Having fun with the pup.....
The kids were having a good time outside the other night. They were taking turns riding in the wagon and holding little Charlie. Next summer little Noah will be able to join in on the fun, but for now he will have to watch from the patio door.

What is this thing......
Earlier this summer I got a good size box of plastic containers at a garage sale and at the bottom of the box was this round thing. I had no idea what it was, but it had Tupperware stamped on the bottom, so I jumped on eBay to see if I could find out what it was. It wasn't to long after I found out that it was a hamburger press. I know you all probably knew what it was, but I have to say I never been to a Tupperware party, so I had no clue. So the last couple of months I have been using it and love it because I don't have to get my hands all yucky and in the end I have all the same size hamburger patties...except for the for special little patty for my daughter, which you can see in the picture. So how many of you have one and use it or don't use it???

The other Tupperware item that I also got in the big box was the pickle holder, which also has worked great in keeping the fingers clean. The kids also like to use it to get there pickles out. So how many of you have one of these???

Extra Money & This & That......

As many of you know I love to sell stuff on EBay to make a little extra money. Well in the last month I have done very well. I can hardly believe it, but Praise the Lord. Just to give you a couple examples. I had bought these Dansko womens shoes at a thrift store for $5. They were in brand new condition. I looked them up on line to see how much they retail for and found out well over $100, so I set them at a buy it price of $60 and sold them. I also sold a pair of Ugg brand boots for $40 and had bought them for $3. Lastly the other great deal was I bought 4 pairs of Silver brand jeans for a total of $15 and sold them for $115. If only I had more things like that to sell:(

The weather has really taken a turn in the last couple of days. I had had to dig out all of the warm clothes. The kids also want to take there walk everyday, which makes it a bit more challenging and less enjoyable, but we will still continue to get out as long as possible. I know I am going to really miss sending the kids out to let them make there loud noised outside. Hopefully they will be able to enjoy playing out in the snow when it comes.

Also another encouraging thing for me is I have been finding that a lots of my pants and skirts are getting to big for me. The clothes that I thought I would never get into again are fitting now, which is so awesome. Now if I can just keep it up I may even be able to get close to my weight before kids. Wow wouldn't that be awesome.

Well that are just a few things happening around here. Hope everyone is doing well and enjoy the fall weather:)
