The Mosquitoes have taken over........
After all the rain we got the mosquitoes moved in. I did not know it till I let the kids play in the backyard one afternoon and soon realized my son had gotten eaten alive. Poor little guy.
I only go out to the garden when I know I have to check to see if I have any more ripe tomatoes. I make sure I have my pants and a long sleeved shirt on and pick the tomatoes as fast as possible. The mosquitoes are out at all times of the day, so there really is not any good time to do the job. I have canned 6 quarts and 2 pints of chili fixings so far. I am hoping to get a lot more, so hopefully next year I will not have to do to much canning. I am looking forward to the first frost and hopefully it will take care of the mosquitoes.

I tried to keep Hydrocortisone cream on them and believe it or not he did not scratch them. People were asking me at church if he had the chicken pox's. He is better know, but a sure felt like a bad mother.

WOW!Poor little boy. I know I would have been scratching until the cows came home. I know how I complain if I get 3 or 4 bites. Gabe must have some sweet smelling skin and some tasty blood. I would feel bad too, but there really was no way to know it would happen.
