Happy Birthday Gabe!!!

Gabe had his 1st. Birthday on May 16th. I made him an angel food cake and some angel food cupcakes. The topping is homemade whip cream and sprinkles for a little extra color. It was delicious and Gabe thought so too, which you can see from some of the pictures below. He ate the whole cupcake.

Anna helped Gabe open his gifts. He got the nice little red wagon and then a John Deere tracker that has a farmer and farm animals that came with it. It also makes cute animal noises.

I just took this picture of Anna yesterday. She had herself a bowl of sliced up apples and peanut butter and was just enjoying herself. It was such a beautiful day.

I have to take pictures when Anna does not know I am taking them or I will get smiles like the pictures below...

I don't have to worry about not getting a good grin out of Gabe..

Gabe started walking at 11 months old, which was almost a month ago. He is now all over the house. Next Wed. May 16th will be his 1st birthday. How time flies. I am really going to enjoy putting in a garden this year and working outside, which is were I am heading after this post. The kids are sleeping, so time to get some more weeds out of the garden.

Anna loves the outdoors. She has all her pails and containers to put rocks and dirt in. She helped me on Saturday with collecting the weeds in the garden and dumping them. She is going to be mommies little helper.

I can't believe it has been a month since I last posted pictures. So here are some great pictures of the kids and things that they have been doing.

Grandpa Marting visited one weekend and Anna was always right by him sitting and wiggling around. She also really liked the puppies that he brought up to sell.

Well we finally had a nice weekend on April 28th to put the swing set together. Grandpa & Grandma Kostman got the swing set for the kids for Christmas. Anna loves it and mommy does too. It keeps her busy, so I can get things done that I need to.

Sleepy girl...This is what I find when I come home in the evenings from working at Victor Allen's Coffee & Tea.

We took are camera with us Sunday and was able to get some cute pictures of the kids. We had lunch at the Langendorfs and the kids had fun playing. Gabe especially liked the step stool. We could not keep him off of it. He also like being pushed around on the horse.
Also this last weekend Gabe has been take 5 or 6 steps here and there. I think in the next couple of weeks he should be walking pretty good. I will try and get a few pictures of him up and about. Anna is soon going to be in trouble when Gabe is able to run after her. She is such a stinker to him.

Anna put on her shoes and Daddy's hat and said she was ready to go outside. It looks like it may be nice outside, but it was freezing. She is such a silly girl.

THE LITTLE MAN IS GETTING SO BIG....10 1/2 MONTHS OLD

A FEW EARLY SPRING DAYS....

We have had a few really nice day in the last couple of weeks. Brandon & I started to weed an area so we can start a strawberry patch. It will be nice when it is done and hopefully by next summer we will have some yummy strawberries to eat. Anna watched us in the dirt pulling weeds and had a little fun herself playing in the dirt. She likes to use her shovel to put dirt in her little wheel barrel and pail. It's so much fun to watch her. Probably the most unpleasant part for me is when she is ready to come in and she is covered in dirt. I guess I better get use to it because she will be spending lots of time outside this summer.

Gabriel is 10 months old!!!

I took Gabe in last week for a doctor's visit and he is 21 lbs and 7 oz. He has not really gotten too much bigger since he was 6 months old. At 6 months he was 20 lbs and 11 oz.

This last Sunday March 11th he crawled all the way up the stairs. Daddy was behind him to catch him just in case he fell. He is getting more dangerous. He also stood by himself for about 10 secs on Monday. I don't think it will be two long before he will start to walk.

Here are a few pictures that a have taken of him in the last couple of weeks.

Anna had fun with mommy's hair clips one night..what a doll! She spent a good hour just putting clips in and pulling them out. Her hair is getting a little longer every month and has just a little curl to it. I just wish that she would leave clips in her hair to keep hair out of her face.

This is what I found one night when I came home from work. Snoozing Anna and very tired daddy.
