Noah at 6 1/2 months old......
He had his 6 month check up today and he now weighs 18 lbs 6 oz. He has been running a fever the last couple of days, so we had to hold off on his shots. I will have to take him in sometime next week. As you can see from the pictures he is getting pretty mobile. He does a good job of sitting up and getting himself across the floor. He is such a sweet little guy:)

Were either of the other kids that big at 6 months? Timothy wasn't, but Benjamin was 19 lb and 10 oz at his 6 month check-up. You are such a good mom. I don't think I would let Benjamin paint. He can't be trusted not to run off and paint on the walls or something. Is Gabe potty-trained? I think you mentioned starting with him. My life is chaos right now, so I haven't forced Benjamin to do much in the way of sitting on the potty.

Angela,
It's so good to hear from you. I think about you and the family often. I believe Gabe was pretty chunky, but he sure was not pulling himself all over the floor. I have notice with each child they start doing stuff sooner and sooner then there older siblings ever did. Gabe started talking a lot sooner then Anna ever did and so he is more advanced in that way and also in the things he can do.

He is doing a great job of using the potty. He pretty much runs around in underwear or shorts all day and goes and uses the potty when he needs to. I have to say he has been very easy and caught on very quickly. He still wears a diaper or pull up when we go out and about and when he is sleeping. You will have to check under Gabe's archive and find the post on potty training. I feel if you can first just get them to go poop on the potty that is a good step. I know with your traveling around it makes this job a little bit harder.

It was great to hear from you. If you have a chance sometime please send me a e-mail to let me know how things are going. How is your deputation going? Take care!
